Robert Langmead and the team at Natures Way Foods were delighted to welcome local MP Gillian Keegan, when she visited the site to get a first-hand experience of its coleslaw factory and the NPD kitchen.
Gillian was introduced to one of the founders, Robert Langmead, and CEO, Colin Smith before being introduced to several current apprentices.
The apprenticeships at Natures Way Foods play a crucial role in providing practical work experience alongside classroom learning. The company has trained over 25 apprentices over the past three years in Engineering, Technical and Management and are always adding more disciplines to support learning and development.
Amanda Milling, MP, Co-Chairman of the Conservative Party said: “It was inspiring to hear about how Natures Way Foods are training people up and providing them with vital skills to help them build a future career.”
